Medical Advisor

Colin Berry, MD FACOG has been providing Suboxone treatment for nearly 3 years in Northern Virginia.

Dr. Berry went to school at the Uniform Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD where he obtained his medical license in 1988.

He spent several years working as a physician and professor at the Naval Center and then the Mayo Clinic.  In 2005, Dr. Berry began working at Blue Ridge OB-GYN in Front Royal, VA where he has been prescribing Suboxone Treatment since 2007.

 

Clinical Director

John Lindsey is a Master's level clinician specializing in addiction disorders.  He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia.  Mr. Lindsey was born outside of Oakland, California.  He completed a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts at Magdalen College outside of Boston, Massachusetts.  Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Lindsey moved to Washington, D.C. where he attended Catholic University of America and received a Masters in Social Work.

Mr. Lindsey completed his clinical residencies at the Clifton T. Perkins Forensic Hospital in Jessup, Maryland and the National Rehabilitation in Washington, D.C. 

 

Program Liasion

Kathryn Stocco, born and raised in Virginia, is an RN with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the esteemed Nursing College of Villanova University near Philadelphia, PA.  She also completed a degree in Italian Studies and speaks the language fluently.

Ms. Stocco has had experience in a variety of educational and leadership roles over the past 10 years.  Her work experience in marketing and promotion in the wellness industry, in addition to her clinical background in the nursing field are a welcome addition to the WAS staff.

 

Program Coordinator

Lindsey Hodson is a native of North Carolina where she received a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies from UNC-Greensboro.  During this time, Ms. Hodson was a Guardian Ad Litem for 3 years in Guilford County, North Carolina.

Ms. Hodson later moved to Washington, D.C. and also achieved a Masters in Social Work from the Catholic University of America.  She completed her clinical residencies at Washington Hospital Center working with gun shot wound patients, and developed programs for oncology patients at Life With Cancer at Inova Fairfax Hospital.  Her vast experience working with people and families at all stages and phases of life have made her a unique asset in the coordination of services at WAS.
