| Outpatient Treatment |
Treatment which is provided by licensed professionals like a
residential treatment facility; however, outpatient allows people to
attend treatment up to 3 times a week at a fraction of the cost while
maintaining employment and family roles |

Residential treatment where a person can receive around the clock
supervision; a typical stay is 28 days and can extend to 3-6 months.
Local residential treatment begins at $15,000 for 28 days |
| Peer Support |
Groups in which people meet to support one another; examples include
Church groups and Alcoholics Anonymous. |
| Medical Detox |
Process of allowing the body to rid itself of a drug while managing
the symptoms of withdrawal. Often the first step in a drug
treatment program and should be followed by therapy and
medication. Detox alone with no follow-up is not treatment. |

When a physician prescribes pharmaceutical medication approved by the
Food and Drug Administration to address chemical and biological needs in
the body and brain of an individual pursuing pain relief. |

Clinical describes a treatment, therapy, or facility which indicates
that guidance, leadership, or responsibility of services is provided by
certified, licensed professionals whom have credentials issued by
supervising boards of the State where they practice and have completed
collegiate, gradate or doctoral degrees to qualify them to provide the
services they render |
